We are very excited to announce the beta launch of our new Motor Carrier Research and Analysis System. Over one year in development, this online service brings new advances and seamless integration to the research tools offered as part of CAB’s ‘Know Your Insureds’ program.
New Carrier Search Engine:
For the first time anywhere, and exclusively on our site, you can perform a search by any combination of name or partial name, address or partial address, city, state, zip and even by phone number. How would you like to know how many other operations are currently or were once registered at that address? Which other entities utilize the same phone number? Is there a broker operation associated with my carrier? What other operations are located in a particular region or zip code where I can market my product? Questions like these can be answered in moments with our new search page. This information is critical to underwriters, claims, SIU, marketing, and actuaries. For Premium Subscribers, our search page also offers QuickLinks which allow you immediate access to view, download or email our Premium Submission Report™ .
Unlike the limited search capabilities offered on the various government sites our new Carrier Search feature gives you the power to search all the government records simultaneously, including records not available on those sites. At the click of a button you can locate critical information about any registered entity.
New Financial Report
For those of you who have been around as long as some of us have, you know that the CAB Financial Report has long been a critical part of any underwriters risk evaluation. In fact it has been over 70 years that CAB has been providing this information to the motor carrier insurance industry, with every single rating manually assigned to the carrier after an exhaustive review by our experienced financial analysts. We have brought the report into the 21st century, with all the bells and whistles you need! Our new report now contains easy to read graphs and charts which allow you, at a glance to really see the overall financial picture. As an added feature we now provide you with the underlying critical analysis performed by our superb staff and allow you to see, first hand, the critical factors which support the CAB Rating and alerts you financial concerns of the analyst. We’ve also added in a ‘Contact the Analyst’ form which will allow you to directly contact the analyst with any questions you may have regarding the report or rating.
Carrier Dashboard ™
Our new Carrier Dashboard provides an intuitive overview of all critical highlights associated with the selected carrier, freight forwarder or broker. The Carrier Dashboard allows you to quickly link to view more in depth detail, and serve as a gateway to the various resources that can be accessed through our site.
Enhanced Navigation Menu
Want to access a specific section of the Submission Report™ ? Want to hop back and forth between VITAL and Carrier searches without losing your current information? The new Menu Bar at the top of our site now provides quick and easy navigation and lets you jump to any location in our site with a single click.
Saved Sessions
We heard you. We know that you want to say logged into the system so that you can get information quickly throughout the day. Now you have that option. By selecting this option anytime you return to our site you will resume your session right where you left off. Whether you are involved in a multi-day research project or your computer inadvertently gets shut off in the middle of your research, or you simply do not want to sign in and out, we now have you covered.
Customizable Preferences
Because the needs of all of our clients differ, many of the features included in our reports can now be customized both on a company wide and individual basis. You can access your ‘My Account’ page from the Navigation Bar to see some of the preferences you can currently customize. Keep checking back as we add in more and more customization options.
Take your time and click your way through the new system. On each page you will find more new features designed to make your life easier and give you even more data than before.
The new site will be opened up to all of our Premium Subscribers effective immediately. There is no need to create a new account as all accounts from the previous site have been migrated over to the new one. To access the site go to www.cabfinancial.com and click on the ‘Beta Site’ link on the left side of the page underneath the ‘Subscription Services’ section. If you are having trouble accessing the new site and believe you are a Premium Subscriber, please contact us by filling out the contact form on our website and we will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
For those of you that begin using the site, the only thing we ask is that you advise us of any questions, comments or problems you might have. It is a Beta Site and we are hard at work to make sure that it will run smoothly and that any changes or needed modifications are made right away.
